About

Brenda Dickenson, LMBT, FMCHC, Owner

Brenda Dickenson is a graduate of Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage located in Syracuse, New York and is licensed in both New York (NY #028956) and North Carolina (NC #16935). She has been trained in many different modalities and is an integrative therapist. Brenda has experience working with people from different age groups, children to geriatric. She has been trained in various modalities such as Orthopedic / Medical Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy (Trigger point / Myo-therapy), Oncology Massage, Scar Tissue Release, Connective Tissue Bodywork (Myofascial Release), Sports Massage as well as Swedish, Shiatsu, and Prenatal Massage. 


While Brenda works with many people for different reasons, her practice primarily focuses on treatment for muscular imbalance, chronic pain, injury / surgical rehabilitation and stress management for over all wellness. Years of working along side of orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, pain management doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors and general physicians, she has experience using the team approach in order to help clients reach their goals. 


Brenda believes each person should be given individual consideration and attention regarding their health and wellness. She is dedicated to providing quality care by assessing the needs of each client individually, designing specific sessions based upon those needs and selecting an appropriate treatment plan.  In addition to massage therapy, Brenda is a Functional Medicine Certified Health and Wellness Coach,  Reiki Master Practitioner (Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage) and an herbalist.

Located inside The Curry Center at 217 Union Street, Cary. 


Directions using GPS: 217 Union Street will take you to the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parking lot.  Upon entering the parking lot, drive straight across the parking lot. There will be parking and a path that leads to The Curry Center (pictured). Please come in and have a seat in the waiting area and I will be with you shortly.
